Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Service Sales Business Development Manager to grow the EL Services portfolio across the Southwestern US, including service engineering and ABB Ability Digital Solutions. This remote role targets Phoenix, Las Vegas, or Albuquerque–Santa Fe and reports to the Service Sales Manager.

You will identify and close orders while leveraging ABB's channels, driving upgrades and value-added solutions in a collaborative, results-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or STEM strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or marketing within electrical distribution services industry.
• Knowledge of electrical power studies, switchgear, circuit breakers and protective relaying.
• Ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
• Collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication.
• Self-starter, energetic and positive contributor to the team environment.
• Proven success in developing new customer volume/trade area.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Penetrate into IB and promote upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions for customers and ABB.
• Understand channel strategy and establish related prices; prepare and review sales plans; propose recovery plans when needed.
• Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities using market trends and potential new service portfolios.
• Act as marketer/salesperson of ABB's service products and solutions during campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings.
