Job summary

ABB is seeking a remote Service Sales Business Development Manager based in the Southwest US (Phoenix, AZ; Las Vegas, NV; or Albuquerque-Santa Fe, NM). You will develop tactical and strategic plans to meet orders, sales and margin goals, growing ABB EL Services across engineering, hardware, parts, and ABB Ability Digital Solutions.

You will identify and close opportunities by engaging end customers, ABB networks, and multiple sales channels, driving upgrades and new service portfolios while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or STEM strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or marketing within electrical distribution services industry.
• Sound knowledge of electrical power studies, switchgear, circuit breakers and protective relaying.
• Ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
• Collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Self-starter, energetic and positive contributor to the team environment.
• Demonstrated success in developing new customer volume / trade area.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Penetrate into IB, promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions to benefit customers and ABB.
• Understand channel strategy, establish prices, prepare sales plans, review and propose recovery plans.
• Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities via market trends and new service portfolios.
• Act as a marketer/salesperson of ABB's service products and solutions during campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, and meetings.
