Job summary

New Charter Technologies, LLC is seeking a Tier 1 Service Desk Engineer to provide fast, friendly IT support for client environments. This remote role involves ticketing, basic networking, and using ConnectWise PSA and IT Glue to document issues and solutions.

You’ll assist with new user setups, desktops, and remote environments, collaborating with MSP-style teams. A two-year technical degree and 1–5 years of service desk experience are preferred, with A+ or Network+ certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting end users in a service desk or help desk environment.
• General understanding of firewalls, switches and desktop computers.
• A two-year technical degree and 1–5 years of service center experience preferred.
• Certifications (A+ or Network+) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle user tickets with professionalism and timely responses.
• Support desktops, virtual environments, and client environments remotely.
• Assist with new user setups and documentation in IT Glue.
• Collaborate with service teams to keep systems performing well.
