Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking an experienced Project Manager III to lead IT/software implementation efforts for healthcare clients. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery, while applying agile, waterfall, or hybrid methods as needed. The role requires 10+ years in project management, PMP/CSM/CSPO, and strong KPI discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years Project Management experience with a strong emphasis on IT/Software Implementation projects.
• Proven track record in IT/Software Implementation projects is essential
• Expertise in developing comprehensive formal Project Management Plans encompassing all typical management sub-plans...
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft Project (Professional or online versions)
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing typical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for monitoring and controlling project work, including Earned Value, ETC, SPI/CPI
• Ability to lead and coach project teams in the development of Work Breakdown Structures and estimation methods
• Active PMP, CSM, and CSPO required
• Healthcare industry experience required
• Demonstrated expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) required
• Bachelor's or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead, oversee, and manage project activities using waterfall, agile/lean, or hybrid approaches
• Serve as a Scrum Master for agile projects, facilitating planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget
• Implement change management principles throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop comprehensive project scopes and objectives with stakeholders
• Ensure optimal resource allocation and schedule management
• Generate detailed project documentation (charter, logs, reports, COAs, etc.)
• Facilitate effective communication and capture key decisions
• Manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs with verification techniques
• Cultivate and manage client/stakeholder relationships as primary liaison
• Conduct risk management and engage third-party vendors when needed
• Analyze healthcare administration functions to inform project requirements
• Document software requirements specifications and ensure alignment with end users
• Create workflow diagrams and participate in peer reviews of requirements
• Communicate test results and changes to end-product requirements
• Continuously improve systems by studying practices and implementing enhancements
• Demonstrate listening and communication skills across roles
• Fulfill Scrum Master responsibilities and remove impediments
• Perform other duties as assigned
