Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an experienced IT PMO leader to shape the portfolio and maximize strategic value, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget while reinforcing a strong business case and long-term value.

You will oversee a nationwide, remotely enabled portfolio, collaborating with senior leaders, vendors, and product teams to strengthen governance, risk management, and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years IT program or project management experience.
• Experience leading a PMO from execution to value delivery.
• PMP or similar certification preferred.
• Experience with governance and 'shift left' processes.
• Strong executive stakeholder influence and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion IT PMO strategy and portfolio alignment.
• Lead adoption of Planview and AI-driven insights.
• Develop a future-ready workforce through coaching and mentoring.
• Drive pre-project estimating and business-case planning.
• Foster a high-trust PMO culture and risk escalation.
• Assess enterprise risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.
• Manage technology investments with indirect procurement.
• Drive consensus across cross-functional stakeholders.
