Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an IT Internship in Enterprise Corporate - People & Culture Workforce Development. The internship runs May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, remotely from home for eligible U.S. residents.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in HRIS and IT, learning configuration, implementation, support, and maintenance of applications to meet organizational needs. A GPA of at least 2.5 and enrollment as an undergraduate junior or senior are required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as Incoming Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university (GPA 2.5 minimum).
• GPA of at least 2.5 is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support IT team in maintenance of hardware, software and other systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and assist with updates and recovery procedures.
• Run software updates and backups as requested.
• Assist with hardware deployment and desktop/server provisioning.
• Provide initial support for LAN/WAN, printers and network status.
