Job summary

Advocate Health offers an IT Internship in the Enterprise Corporate - People & Culture Workforce Development. The internship runs May 31, 2027 through August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week in Mon-Fri hours.

This is a remote position, with eligibility for residents in FL and other approved states. Interns will learn IT functions such as configuration, implementation, support, and maintenance of applications to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Teamwork and collaboration.
• Proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support IT and HRIS functions in a HRIS/IT internship role.
• Assist with IT configuration, software updates, and user support.
• Help maintain hardware, software, and other systems under supervision.
• Assist in documenting procedures and meeting KPI targets for the Service Desk.
• Collaborate with IT and operations to ensure reliable system performance.
• Liaise with vendors and internal teams to facilitate projects.
