Job summary

Advocate Health IT Internship in HRIS and Information Technology offers practical work experiences to college students. You will learn IT functions such as configuration, implementation, support and maintenance of applications to meet the organization’s needs.

The internship is remote and runs May 31, 2027 through August 6, 2027. Interns may work up to 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri in business hours, with supervision by the IT team.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university.
• No prior professional experience required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic IT concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT team with maintenance of hardware, software and other systems.
• Research and troubleshoot IT issues and unusual bugs.
• Support IT configuration, implementation and application recovery procedures.
• Assist with call tracking systems and KPI reporting.
• Provide initial user support and troubleshooting for LAN/WAN software and desktops.
