Job summary

Advocate Health is offering an IT Internship in the Enterprise Corporate - People & Culture Workforce Development team. The intern will learn IT configuration, implementation, maintenance and support of applications to meet operational needs, while serving as a liaison among clinical operations, internal IT, system users and vendors to ensure reliable systems and data integrity.

The internship runs May 31, 2027 through August 6, 2027, up to 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as Incoming Junior, or Senior at an accredited college or university.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support IT team in the maintenance of hardware, software and other systems.
• Research unusual bugs or issues and assist with resolutions.
• Run software updates and backups as requested.
• Assist with call tracking and KPI reporting.
• Help develop new desktops, servers or applications.
