Advocate Health is seeking an IT Internship student to gain practical experience in HRIS and IT operations. The role involves learning IT configuration, application support, and system maintenance to meet organizational needs.

Interns work up to 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, during a May 31, 2027–August 6, 2027 window. Remote work is available to residents in listed states, with a focus on developing IT skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• Current enrollment as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks.
• Strong teamwork and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Research unusual bugs or issues the company encounters.
• Support IT team in maintenance of hardware, software, and systems.
• Assist with conversions, updates, and application recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment like printers, computers, and servers.
• Run software updates and backups as requested.
• Explore hosting options and report pricing to supervisors.
• Assist in development of desktops, servers, or applications.
• Record customer interactions for the Service Desk KPI.
