Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an IT Help Desk professional for a 6+ month contract located in the U.S. (Remote). You will provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and support Tier 1 applications.

The role requires 1+ year of customer service and Help Desk experience, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills. Benefits include health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ years of Help Desk experience preferred.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent years of experience preferred.
• A Certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Network Certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong technical skills in operating system concepts and scripts (e.g., UNIX, NT, PC Fundamentals).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and junior analysts.
• Support Deployment, ECARE, and RTO efforts, including troubleshooting and vendor coordination.
• Identify root-cause issues in Tier 1 apps and communicate findings to partners.
• Analyze customer workflows and facilitate operational support.
• Translate customer requests into incident specifications.
• Maintain and enhance knowledge of assigned applications and programming languages.
• Collaborate with Reporting and Problem Management on reporting needs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with courtesy and responsiveness.
• Participate in programs promoting outstanding customer service.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
