Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking an IT Engineer for a remote 3-month contract position. You will partner with customers during onboarding, activation, and platform adoption, serving as a technical resource throughout the lifecycle.

The role involves leading onboarding sessions, configuring integrations, and supporting VM-based collectors and telemetry in customer environments. A strong networking background and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

2+ years in networking, support, implementation, onboarding, customer success, or related tech roles.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, firewall policies, SSH, SNMP, and VM deployment.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in IT/CS/Cybersecurity/Networking.

Responsibilities

Lead customer onboarding and activation sessions, deploying platform integrations.
Assist with VM-based collectors, connectors, and telemetry solutions in customer networks.
Guide customers on IP addressing, DNS, firewall rules, access credentials, and network connectivity.
Support cloud-to-cloud API integrations, platform migrations, and onboarding initiatives.
Troubleshoot onboarding challenges and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams.
