Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking an IT Category Manager to lead strategic procurement for IT goods and services. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and align procurement with business needs while coordinating with IT leadership.

You will work 100% virtually on an East Coast schedule, with daily video participation and strong focus on risk management and contract performance. Prior nonprofit or humanitarian experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related disciplines.
• 7+ years in Supply Management, Procurement, or IT Office roles.
• Experience with IT services and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with IT and business partners to align procurement with priorities.
• Manage a portfolio of IT suppliers, contracts, and third‑party risk.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and renewals with internal teams.
