Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking an IT Category Manager to lead procurement for IT goods and services. You will manage supplier relationships, develop category strategies, and negotiate agreements in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities include overseeing renewals, risk management, and coordinating with Counsel, Risk, and IT leaders to drive cost savings and value across the sourcing lifecycle. This is a remote role with an East Coast schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Management, Economics, Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 7+ years in Supply Management, Procurement, or IT Business Office roles related to IT sourcing.
• Experience managing IT services and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with IT leadership to align procurement with IT strategy and business needs.
• Manage supplier portfolios, renewals, and third-party risk.
• Develop and implement category strategies to optimize cost and supply continuity.
• Lead negotiations on supplier agreements and renewals with cross-functional teams.
