American Red Cross is seeking an IT Category Manager to manage IT supplier relationships and lead strategic procurement across the organization. The role will coordinate with IT, legal, risk, and business clients to ensure aligned demand, risk oversight, and successful contract execution.

You will work 100% remotely with an East Coast schedule (8am–5pm) and participate in frequent video meetings. A bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Management, Economics, Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Supply Management, Procurement, or IT Business Office roles.
• Information Technology experience overseeing IT services and suppliers.

Responsabilités

• Work with Sr. Director and Director of IT Strategic Procurement to align IT needs with business goals.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and renewals in collaboration with Counsel, Risk, IT and clients.
• Lead category strategies to control costs and ensure supply continuity.
• Manage relationships with clients and suppliers to understand procurement demands and timelines.
