Zusammenfassung

The American Red Cross is seeking an IT Category Manager to lead strategic procurement across IT services and suppliers. You will work with IT executives to align demand, manage supplier portfolios, and negotiate complex agreements and SOWs.

You will develop category strategies, mitigate third-party risk, and collaborate with legal, risk, and business clients to deliver value while supporting nonprofit objectives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Management, Economics, Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Supply Management, Procurement, or IT business office roles.
• Experience overseeing IT services and suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of IT marketplace terminology and norms.
• Experience with development and managed services agreements and statements of work.
• Negotiation skills in pay for performance and shared risk allocation.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration and influence skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional meetings and present to stakeholders.
• Experience with common procurement tools and contract lifecycle management.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate with IT leadership to align IT procurement with business needs.
• Manage supplier portfolios including agreements, renewals, and risk.
• Develop relationships with clients to understand procurement demands.
• Lead category strategies to control costs and ensure supply continuity.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and renewals with legal, risk, IT, and clients.
• Negotiate SOWs and ordering documents to support projects.
• Assess and mitigate third-party risk with legal, risk, and security teams.
• Collaborate with CIO and IT leaders to manage spend and project timelines.
• Participate in SOBRA, TPRM, SAB, Risk Council, and P&L improvement processes.
• Support IT strategic procurement and communicate with leaders.
