Job summary

Blank Rome LLP is seeking an IP Docketing Specialist to provide comprehensive docketing services for patent, trademark, and copyright matters. The role involves independent date calculation and using FoundationIP, with reporting to the IP Docketing Supervisor.

This remote-friendly position requires 4+ years in IP docketing, legal environment experience, and strong attention to detail. Candidate must reside in one of the firm’s 10 office states and be able to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IP docketing experience.
• FoundationIP experience is a plus.
• Experience in a legal or professional services setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Open new matters and input records into IP Docketing system FoundationIP.
• Enter all due dates from correspondence into the docketing system.
• Coordinate with attorneys and staff to meet deadlines.
• Generate attorney and client docket reports as requested.
• Process filings and update docketing system daily.
• Keep current with USPTO rules and foreign IP practices.
• Perform special projects and support IP Docketing team.
