Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an IP Docket Specialist to monitor, docket, and manage deadlines across designated matters with precision. The role supports the IP Docket Managers and helps ensure timely filings in US and foreign jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of IP docketing experience, a 2-year degree or paralegal certificate, and strong proficiency with PattsyWave and Microsoft Office. This position may be remote or located at one of our offices.

Formación

• 2-year degree or Paralegal Certificate required; 4-year degree preferred in related field.
• 3-5 years of IP docketing experience with IP docketing software including PattsyWave.
• Strong knowledge of patent and trademark prosecution process as well as all facets of IP business workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, and internet research; ability to prepare, export, edit, filter, sort, search, and reformat large spreadsheets within Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, and resourcefulness.

Responsabilidades

• Independently docket for designated assignment group (multiple offices and/or shared docketing mailboxes).
• Review USPTO and foreign filings and verify accuracy via official sources.
• Create, review, and distribute accurate matter reports.
• Collaborate with the IP Docket Manager to improve docketing practices and processes.
• Remain current with developments in US and foreign filing entities.
