Samsara, the Connected Operations Cloud leader, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join a diverse, technically minded team. You’ll work with customers on logistics, fleet maintenance, and regulatory compliance, translating complex IoT tech into practical solutions via demos and open APIs.

This remote role is open to candidates in the US Northeast region (excluding listed areas). You’ll collaborate with the sales team, install demonstrations, and support deployment discussions that help customers

Competenze

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• Preferred 1+ years experience in pre-sales or support with customers.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Well-versed in cloud software, networking, automation and control systems.

Mansioni

• Become an expert on Samsara products and the practical impact of IoT tech for customers.
• Demonstrate discovery to understand customer needs and answer tech questions on a single call.
• Be highly available for demo/account coverage and cross-team technical support.
• Understand device installation well enough to explain it over the phone.
• Educate customers on APIs and deploy scripts leveraging the Samsara API in testing environments.
• Act as liaison between product and sales teams, translating feedback and enrolling customers in beta programs.
