Samsara is hiring a Sales Engineer to help bring our Connected Operations technology to customers. You’ll work with teams across logistics, fleet maintenance, and systems integration, explaining IoT hardware, cloud infrastructure, and APIs.

This remote Southeast US role requires collaboration and technical fluency. You’ll engage with customers to tailor demos, guide deployments, and support account teams, all while upholding Samsara’s values and high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Well-versed in cloud software, networking, automation and control systems.
• Experience with hardware sensors or vehicles is a plus.
• 1+ years experience in pre-sales or a technical sales role.

Responsabilités

• Become an expert on Samsara products and IoT tech within operations.
• Conduct quick discovery to understand customer needs and answer questions.
• Provide technical expertise across the Samsara Sales Team for demos.
• Explain device installation concepts to prospects over the phone.
• Educate customers on APIs and deploy scripts in testing environments.
• Advocate for accounts in internal tech discussions and beta programs.
• Translate feedback to product and drive participation in pilots.
• Model and embed Samsara values as the company scales globally.
