Job summary

Odyssey Logistics is seeking a Sales Manager, International Solutions to drive revenue for our freight forwarding and NVOCC services. This is a remote role requiring residency in the Midwest, Pacific Northwest, or Pacific Southwest, with 30-40% travel to customers and Odyssey locations.

You will build territory plans, manage a strong pipeline, and lead a consultative sales process from discovery to close, while collaborating with Pricing, Procurement, and Operations to optimize profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in progressive B2B sales in international freight forwarding/NVOCC.
• Experience selling CHB and FCL ocean/ocean services.
• Knowledge of trade lanes and logistics docs.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven hunter mentality with new logo development.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue and profitability quota for Odyssey's international services - freight forwarding/NVOCC, import/export, and customs brokerage through new-logo acquisition and growth.
• Build and execute a territory and account plan with targets for new logos, revenue, gross profit, and product mix.
• Generate and manage a healthy pipeline; maintain CRM data and forecast.
• Prioritize growth in full container load (FCL) ocean, intra-Americas, Europe lanes, and India.
• Lead consultative sales process from discovery through close.
• Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts with Pricing, Procurement, and Operations.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing account development; conduct quarterly reviews.
