Lumicera is seeking an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and ensure complete patient records. You will translate prescription data for dispensing, handle triage for prior authorizations, and assist providers and insurers as needed.

This role supports multiple teams and adheres to regulatory guidelines. Primary duties include making outreach calls, documenting information, and maintaining accurate records within the dispensing software.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Some college preferred.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per state.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to work scheduled hours; shifts may vary.
• Participate in compliance objectives and maintain professional conduct.

Responsabilidades

• Place phone calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services, care management, copay programs, and billing info.
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare staff.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage assigned workflow queues and accurately document information.
• Ensure compliance with laws and high ethical standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
