Job summary

Lumicera is seeking an Intake Specialist I to join the Patient Support Services team. This role focuses on enrolling new Specialty Pharmacy patients, collecting demographics, allergies, medication history, payer info, and more within the dispensing system.

You will reach out to patients and providers by phone or fax to obtain required data and coordinate communications with care teams. Responsibilities include triaging information, ensuring accurate record entry, and supporting other areas as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per state where employed.

Responsibilities

• Place phone calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services including care management and copay/billing info.
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information for medication dispensing.
• Manage assigned workflow queues and document prescription orders accurately.
