Job summary

Lumicera is seeking an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and collect complete records, including demographics, allergies, medication history, and payer information. Under the Assoc.

Manager, Patient Support Services, you will place calls to patients and providers and translate prescription details for dispensing. This role supports triaging prior authorizations, collaborates with pharmacists, and uses the dispensing software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Some college preferred.
• National CPhT and/or state licensure may be required based on state.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to work varied hours (8am–7pm Mon–Thu, 8am–6pm Fri).
• Participate in compliance program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services including care management and billing info.
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage assigned workflow queues.
• Document information and prescription order setup accurately.
• Comply with applicable laws and maintain high ethical standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
