Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and ensure all pertinent information is captured in the record. The role involves calling patients, translating prescription details, and coordinating with providers and insurers for prior authorizations as needed.

Flexibility to work within pharmacy tech duties is expected. Position hours run from 6am to 7pm CST/CDT, with remote work available only to residents of Alabama and other listed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per state.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services including patient care management and copay assistance.
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers and other healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage the assigned workflow queues.
• Document information and prescription order setup accurately; maintain compliance.
