Lumicera is seeking an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and ensure complete records, including demographics, allergies, history, and payer details. The role centers on calls to patients and providers, data translation for dispensing software, and coordinating prior authorizations as needed.

The position supports pharmacy operations, requires a HS diploma, and offers comprehensive benefits with remote-friendly schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Two years of pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
• National CPhT and/or state registration may be required depending on residence.

Responsibilities

• Enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and collect demographic and payer data.
• Place calls to patients, prescribers, and caregivers; manage inquiries via phone or fax.
• Translate prescription information for dispensing software accuracy.
• Assist with prior authorizations and triage for patients needing authorization.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to laws and ethics.
