Lumicera is seeking an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and ensure complete records are built with demographics, allergies, med history, and payer data. The role focuses on calling patients and providers by phone or fax, translating prescription info, and supporting prior auth triage in coordination with pharmacists.

The Intake Specialist I will work within the patient support services team, interfacing with pharmacists and other departments to ensure accurate data

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• National CPhT and/or state registration/licensure per residing state requirements.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
• Flexible hours; operation 8am–7pm Mon–Thu, 8am–6pm Fri; comply with department needs.
• Commitment to compliance and respectful teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services (care management, copay support, billing).
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage workflow queues and document prescription data accurately.
• Support other areas of the facility as needed with pharmacy technician duties.
