Float Health is seeking an Intake Specialist to manage new patient referrals and coordinate start-of-care visits. This remote role requires clear communication, rapid action, and cross-functional collaboration with pharmacies, nurses, and patients.

You will schedule visits, match nurses, onboard patients, and help optimize workflows and technology to improve patient outcomes. This role offers a fully remote US-based work setup with a base salary and equity options.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling.
• Ability to utilize multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
• Ability to manage inbound communication while supporting other tasks.
• Ability to type 60 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including the ability to digest and explain complex information clearly to all users.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start of care visits using Float Health platform and supporting technology (Zendesk, Google Suite, Slack).
• Collect information from pharmacies and patients and match nurses to patients.
• Manage offers in our marketplace to ensure fair pay for nurses.
• Onboard patients to Float Health and confirm logistics for safe home visits.
• Respond to restaff and reschedule requests.
• Communicate with pharmacies, nurses, and patients via email, phone, chat, and SMS.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams in shared queues and Slack.
• Prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks and learn new processes and technology.
