Job summary

Kin Insurance seeks an Insurance Counsel - Forms to draft policy language for auto or property as Kin expands into new states and products. You will anchor one line, while backing up the other, providing regulatory insight and first-pass legal review.

You’ll research statutes, draft filing-ready forms, and collaborate with Claims, Product, and Customer Experience to ensure compliant, clear coverage language across state lines.

Qualifications

• JD required and 5+ years of policy form drafting experience.
• Experience drafting personal lines policy forms for multiple states.
• Ability to research statutes and translate into filing-ready policy language.

Responsibilities

• Research state statutes and regulations and convert them into compliant policy wording.
• Draft responses to regulator objections and advocate Kin's position.
• Provide coverage interpretation advice to internal teams (Claims, Product, Customer Experience).
• Draft complete state and product form packages for your line of business, including notices and endorsements.
