Kin Insurance seeks an Insurance Counsel - Forms to own drafting for state and product policy forms, focusing on personal auto or homeowners lines. You will translate statutes into compliant policy language and advise internal teams on coverage interpretation.

You'll review regulator objections, support filings, and help establish scalable drafting standards across states, while serving as a subject-matter expert for Kin's policy forms.

Qualifikationen

• JD required with 5+ years of policy form drafting experience.
• Experience drafting personal auto or homeowners policy forms preferred.
• Ability to conduct statutory and regulatory research and translate into policy language.

• Draft complete state and product forms packages for personal auto or property lines.
• Provide first-pass legal review and address novel state law questions.
• Advise internal partners on coverage interpretation and form wording.
• Respond to regulator objections and advocate Kin's position in audits and examinations.
• Develop drafting standards and reusable language for faster state package production.
• Design and deliver internal training on policy forms and regulatory expectations.
