Kin Insurance seeks an Insurance Counsel - Forms to drive drafting of policy forms for auto or property as Kin expands into new states. You will analyze statutes, craft compliant language, and lead regulatory discussions to ensure filing readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of policy form drafting experience
• JD required and 5+ years of forms drafting experience
• Experience drafting personal auto or property forms for multiple states

Responsibilities

• Draft state and product forms packages, including base policies, endorsements, and notices, ready for filing.
• Research state statutes and regulations and translate them into compliant policy language.
• Provide legal advice on coverage interpretation and form wording to internal partners.
• Review regulator objections on form filings and advocate Kin's position with regulators.
• Establish drafting standards and reusable language to speed up state package production.
• Deliver internal training on policy forms and regulatory expectations.
• Serve as backup drafter for the other line of business.
