Kin Insurance is seeking an Insurance Counsel - Forms to turn aggressive state and product expansion into filing-ready policy language. You will anchor a line (personal auto or property) and advise on form wording, regulatory objections, and filings across multiple states as Kin grows through 2027.

You’ll draft, review, and standardize forms and notices, collaborating with Claims, Product, and Customer Experience to ensure compliance and clear coverage interpretation.

Qualifications

• JD required with 5+ years drafting policy forms.
• Experience drafting personal auto or property forms.
• Ability to interpret state statutes and translate into policy language.

Responsibilities

• Research state statutes and translate into compliant policy wording.
• Draft responses to regulator objections on form filings.
• Advise internal partners on coverage interpretation and form wording.
• Draft complete state and product forms packages ready for filing.
• Review drafts and elevate novel state law questions to senior counsel.
• Maintain and update base forms and state kits for your line.
