Kin Insurance is seeking an Insurance Counsel - Forms to support rapid state and product expansion. You will own drafting for personal auto or property forms, research statutes, and advise on policy wording for filings and examinations.

You will anchor a line of business, review AI-assisted drafts for regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Claims, Product, and Customer Experience teams to ensure clear, compliant forms across multiple states.

Qualifications

• JD required with 5+ years of policy form drafting experience.
• Experience drafting policy forms for personal auto or homeowners lines.
• Ability to translate statutes/regulations into clear filing-ready language.
• Experience handling regulator objections and form filings.
• Strong advisory capability to business partners on coverage interpretation.

Responsabilités

• Research state statutes and regulations and translate into compliant policy language.
• Draft responses to Department of Insurance objections and advocate for Kin's position with regulators.
• Provide legal advice on coverage interpretation to internal partners.
• Draft complete state and product forms packages for your line of business.
