MEDHOST, a division of Harris Computer, seeks an Account Follow-up Representative II to review and resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts. This remote role accepts candidates nationwide in the United States.

You will learn multiple hospital systems, research claims, and work with third-party payors to achieve timely resolutions. The position emphasizes following up on accounts, handling 40-50 daily cases, and delivering training to new hires.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in related field.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and insurance reimbursements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Timely follow-up on unpaid insurance balances and verify payment status.
• rebill to patient insurance and adjust financial class as needed.
• Gather demographic, clinical, and insurance information to support payment.
• Analyze denial/variance trends and communicate with payors.
• Assist leadership in managing AR and 90-day balances post-discharge.
• Deliver education to new hires and train colleagues.
• Research accounts and route through appropriate workflows.
• Attend education courses and participate in team projects.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve workflow issues.
