Job summary

MEDHOST, a division of Harris, seeks an Account Follow-up Representative II to review and resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts. This remote position welcomes candidates anywhere in the US.

The role includes following up on claims, handling 40–50 accounts daily, addressing denials, and gathering necessary information while maintaining HIPAA and security standards.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent diploma required.
• 3+ years' experience in related field.
• Sufficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to complete work assigned.
• Customer Service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on hospital patient accounts for insurance payment.
• Manage 40–50 accounts per day for assigned payor(s).
• Resolve denials and payor issues with other teams/departments.
