Qualifications

• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes affecting insurance reimbursements.
• Proficiency with telephone systems for outbound/inbound calls.
• Ability to handle PHI in compliance with privacy rules.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Timely follow-up on hospital accounts for insurance payment; verify payment status and rebill when needed.
• Handle 40–50 accounts per day for assigned payors.
• Investigate denials and zero-dollar pay reports within 24 hours of receipt.
