MEDHOST, a division of Harris, seeks an Account Follow-up Representative II to resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts. The role requires learning multiple hospital systems, researching claims, and coordinating with third-party payors to obtain necessary information for resolution.

The position is remote across the United States and offers real exposure to revenue cycle processes, denials analysis, and team collaboration while maintaining HIPAA and compliance

Competenze

• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes impacting insurance reimbursements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years in related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic arithmetic computations.

Mansioni

• Timely follow-up on hospital patient accounts for insurance payment; verify claim status and rebill when needed.
• Handle 40–50 accounts per day; prioritize denials and zero-dollar pay reports within 24 hours.
• Collaborate with payors and internal teams to resolve unpaid claims and educate new hires.
