Job summary

MEDHOST, a division of Harris, is seeking an Account Follow-up Representative II to review and resolve hospital insurance balances. This remote role supports work across the U.S., handling follow-up, rebilling, and denials analysis to move accounts toward resolution and improve cash flow.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in revenue cycle, strong communication, and comfort with AI-enabled tools to enhance workflows while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a related revenue-cycle field
• Experience handling insurance balances and denials is preferred
• Ability to learn multiple hospital systems and work with payors

Responsibilities

• Timely follow-up on patient accounts with outstanding insurance payments
• Rebill to insurance and annotate accounts for resolution
• Gather demographic, clinical and insurance information as needed
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to resolve 90-day balances
• Collaborate with third-party payors and internal teams to resolve denials and trends
