Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning and blended training solutions for Ryder employees.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts to define objectives, create content, and implement evaluation strategies that align with company goals and competencies. The role emphasizes adult learning principles, proficiency with Articulate 360, and delivering high-quality training on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 8+ years of relevant experience in designing and developing eLearning, ILT, blended or performance support materials.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• 5+ years in education or business environment.
• 3+ years in designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions including e-learning materials.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience with Articulate 360 Suite.
• Ability to work closely with clients and subject matter experts to develop training strategies and solutions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops learning content and testing to support major training initiatives.
• Consults with subject matter experts to develop objectives and learning strategies.
• Creates learning project proposals and ensures solutions meet objectives and deadlines.
• Advances instructional design with best practices and emerging trends.
• Collaborates with team members on projects and initiatives.
