Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced Learning Designer to develop dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended or performance support training solutions that enhance Ryder employees' capabilities and productivity.

The role collaborates with subject matter experts to create instructional objectives, content, and evaluation strategies, while aligning with Ryder's goals and competencies. Proficiency in Storyline and Articulate 360 is required, with a focus on adult learning principles and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, education, instructional design technology, or related area or minimum 8 years equivalent work experience.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• Five (5) years or more education or business environment experience.
• Three (3) years or more designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions; experience with Articulate 360 Suite.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Knowledge of Storyline; ability to work with clients and subject matter experts.
• Knowledge of needs analysis and training/non-training assessment.
• Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops learning content and testing to support major training initiatives.
• Consults with subject matter experts to develop objectives and evaluation strategies.
• Develops learning project proposals and ensures alignment with objectives and timelines.
• Keeps abreast of emerging trends in learning methods and adult-learning best practices.
• Collaborates with team members on projects and initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
