Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a skilled instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended or performance support training solutions to enhance Ryder employees' capabilities and productivity.

The role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, developing sound objectives, content, and evaluation strategies, and proposing learning project initiatives. The candidate should stay current with adult learning principles and innovative

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Business, Education, Instructional Design Technology or related area or minimum 8 years equivalent experience.
Master's degree preferred in related field.
Five (5) years or more in Education or business environment.
Three (3) years or more in assessing, designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions; experience with Articulate 360; Storyline required.

Responsibilities

Creates learning content and testing to support major training and assessment initiatives.
Consults with subject matter experts to develop objectives, content, and learning strategies.
Designs and develops learning project proposals.
Ensures instructional design solutions match objectives and outcomes.
Stays abreast of emerging trends in learning methods and adult learning practices.
Collaborates with team members on projects and initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
