Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic training solutions for Ryder employees.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts to create instructionally sound objectives and content, and you will implement evaluation strategies to ensure effectiveness across eLearning, ILT, blended, or performance-support formats. The role emphasizes adherence to adult learning principles, staying current with industry trends, and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, education, instructional design technology, or related area or minimum 8 years equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• Five (5) years or more experience in education or business environments.
• Three (3) years or more designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions including e-learning materials.
• Proficiency with Articulate 360 Suite.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience with Storyline is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Creates learning content and testing to support major training initiatives.
• Consults with subject matter experts and business owners to develop objectives, content, and implementation strategies.
• Designs and develops learning project proposals.
• Ensures instructional design solutions align with objectives and outcomes; communicates creative ideas to gain consensus.
• Stays current on emerging trends in learning methods and adult learning best practices.
• Collaborates with team members on projects and initiatives; performs other duties as assigned.
