Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended, or performance support training solutions for Ryder employees.

The role collaborates with subject matter experts to create sound objectives, content, and evaluation strategies, while staying current with adult learning principles and emerging trends in learning methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years equivalent experience in designing e-learning, ILT, blended or performance support training materials
• 5+ years in education or business environment
• 3+ years designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions; experience with Articulate 360 Suite
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Knowledge of Storyline and other authoring tools
• Experience collaborating with clients and subject matter experts to develop training strategies

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops learning project proposals
• Creates learning content and testing for major training initiatives aligning with Ryder's goals and competencies
• Consults with subject matter experts to develop objectives, content, and evaluation strategies
• Ensures instructional design solutions meet objectives and outcomes
• Stays current with emerging trends in learning methods and best practices
