Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended, or performance support training solutions that boost Ryder employees' productivity.

Responsibilities include collaborating with subject matter experts to create sound objectives, content, and evaluation strategies, developing proposals, and staying current with adult learning best practices to deliver effective training that meets business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, instructional design technology, education technology, related area or minimum 8 years equivalent work experience in designing and developing eLearning, instructor led, blended or performance support training materials and/or solutions.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• Five (5) years or more Education or business environment.
• Three (3) years or more Assessing, designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions, as well as designing, developing, and producing e-learning training materials/solutions. Experience with Articulate 360 Suite.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Knowledge of at least one authoring/development tool such as Storyline is required advanced required
• Knowledge of how to work closely with clients and subject matter experts to develop training strategies and solutions advanced required
• Knowledge of how to analyze information and identify needs and training/non-training advanced required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel. intermediate required
