Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced instructional designer to create dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended, or performance-support training solutions that boost employee productivity.

You will design content, collaborate with subject matter experts, and develop proposals while applying best practices in adult learning and instructional design to deliver impactful training across Ryder’s organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, education, instructional design technology, or related area or minimum 8 years equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• 5+ years education or business environment experience.
• 3+ years experience assessing, designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions; experience with Articulate 360 Suite.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops learning content and testing to support major training initiatives.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to develop objectives and strategies for learning solutions.
• Develops learning project proposals and ensures alignment with objectives and timelines.
• Maintains awareness of emerging trends in learning methods and adult learning best practices.
• Collaborates with team members on projects and initiatives.
