Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic training solutions across eLearning, instructor-led, blended, or performance support formats.

You will collaborate with SMEs and business owners to create effective training strategies, optimize content, and deliver customized learning solutions that enhance employee productivity. The role emphasizes strong client collaboration, project management, and quality delivery, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, education, instructional design technology, or related area; or minimum 8 years equivalent experience in designing and developing e-learning materials.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• Five or more years in education or business environment.
• Three or more years in assessing, designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions; experience with Articulate 360 Suite.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies advanced.
• Knowledge of Storyline and other authoring tools; experience with client collaboration and needs analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Creates learning content and testing to support major training and assessment initiatives aligned with Ryder's goals and competencies.
• Consults with subject matter experts to develop objectives, content, and learning strategies; organizes projects to meet scope and timeline.
• Designs and develops learning project proposals; ensures solutions align with objectives and desired outcomes.
• Keeps abreast of emerging trends in learning methods and adult learning best practices.
