Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an instructional designer to design, develop, implement, and maintain dynamic eLearning and blended training solutions for Ryder employees. You will collaborate with SMEs to craft objectives, content, and evaluation strategies.

The role emphasizes adult learning principles, Storyline/Articulate 360 expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Education, instructional design technology, or related field; or 8+ years equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• 5+ years Education or business environment experience required.
• 3+ years designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions; experience with e-learning materials.
• Advanced knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Knowledge of client and SME collaboration to develop training strategies.
• Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel (intermediate).

Responsibilities

• Create learning content and testing for major training initiatives aligned with Ryder goals.
• Consult with SMEs and business owners to develop objectives and implementation strategies.
• Design and develop learning project proposals.
• Ensure solutions match objectives and outcomes; propose creative ideas.
• Stay current with emerging learning trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members on projects and initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
