Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Instructional Designer I for a remote role, supporting enterprise learning initiatives.

You will design and develop eLearning courses and training documents for Ryder’s global audience, collaborating with SMEs and using Storyline and Rise to deliver impactful content. The role requires 1+ years of instructional design experience, proficiency in Articulate 360, Camtasia, and the Adobe suite, plus strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field; 1+ years of instructional design experience.
• Proficient in Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) and Camtasia.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Proven ability to design, develop and implement learning materials.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deliver instructionally sound eLearning and other resources (video, microlearning, QRGs).
• Design, develop and support learning programs independently or with leadership guidance.
• Develop course outlines and scripts throughout design/development phases.
• Apply learning methods to analyze and evaluate instructional approaches.
• Create engaging activities aligned with Ryder goals and competencies.
• Develop storyboards for e-learning and videos; use Storyline, Rise, etc.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to implement courses.
• Set guidelines for design, content development and project management.
