Job summary

Parts Town is seeking an Inside Service Technician to directly communicate with end users and field technicians, providing technical support over the phone and by email to assist in repairs on warranty and non-warranty equipment. Upon onboarding, there is an opportunity to earn CFESA certifications.

The role requires hands-on repair experience in electrical/gas appliances, refrigeration, or HVAC, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC (or relevant training/schooling).
• Clear and effective written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, communicating equipment information and troubleshooting solutions.
• Provide technical support to end users and field technicians over the phone and/or via email (30+ cases per day).
• Utilize equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain all customer call information in the company database for future inquiries.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to recommend engineering changes and document equipment/component failure rates.
