Parts Town is seeking an Inside Service Technician to communicate with end users and field technicians, providing phone/email support for repairs on warranty and non-warranty cold side foodservice equipment. After onboarding, you may earn CFESA certifications.

Join a Technical Service team with a collaborative culture; the hourly range for this role is $26.00 hourly, with benefits including health insurance and 401k, plus on-demand pay options and other perks.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing electric/gas appliances, refrigeration or HVAC systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Reliable high-speed internet at home.
• Proficient with MS Word & Outlook.
• Passion for troubleshooting and solving problems.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.
• Available to work 8-hour shifts Mon–Fri ( CST/EST time zones) with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and explain equipment information clearly.
• Provide technical support to end users and field technicians via phone/email (30+ cases/day).
• Use manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Enter all customer call information into the company database.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to report failures and document failure rates.
